    70 is super ok for ales. High 70's is ok too, but not as ok. Seriously, if youre worried go getcha a cheap lil deep freezer and an analog temp controller. My setup was less than $200 and it fits two carboys and has a handy dandy sliding shelf to store hops and whatnots Sent from my SGH-T989...

    How much space In that carboy is not occupied by beer? Im wondering if you have too much open space which gives way to better chance of bacteria growth, depending on your temps.

    Right. After fermentation is done, bottle and find out for sure after 3 weeks of conditioning if its bad or not. Why waste it if theres a possibility of it being good?!
