first brew arrol's 80 shilling ale

Well its in the bottles now and I did sample some but very little amazingly. How long does it need to stay in the bottle for conditioning purposes? Final gravity was 1.011 with an original gravity of 1.070(but AHB said that I either received to much sugar or the sample wasnt mixed up). It was...

well my shilling ale has been in the primary for 5 days now and I want to know if I need to take another gravity reading with my hydrometer yet. There are minimal bubbles left on the top of the wort and the airlock has slowed almost to a hault. What is my next step? The wort looks fairly...

Ok so to update, after speaking with Austin Home Brewery they said that the sample that I took probably just wasnt mixed well enough. They also told me to stir the wort once more before the first 24 hours was up, although I already had 2" of head on the wort at the time. The stiring seemed to...

Took measurement last night right after combining my wort and chilled water, but before the yeast was pitched. The AHS guide said that my 80 shilling should have an og around 1.044 and I got 1.070 at 78 degrees F. What should I do?? Do I need to add some water to the mixture or just leave it...
