    Air to wort "pre-chiller"

I'm thinking that using the air/wort chiller FIRST, then the plate chiller is not working as hard and I can cool everything faster.

    Air to wort "pre-chiller"

I have a "noob" question. I'm planning my brew sculpture and I have a couple of questions. I plan on putting a Dura-Diesel 12 inch plate chiller into the system (water to wort chiller), but I find myself in the unique position of having an abundance of 1/4 inch copper tubing. I was...

    Super Simple 15G Plastic Conical

OK, I'm a noob to the brewing game, so bear with me if this is a dumb idea... I read through this entire thread and got a lot of good ideas. Repeatedly, the concern was brought up about introducing a 1qt. air bubble into your brew when re-attaching your yeast trap. Couldn't you rack off...

    Made my first equipment purchase!

I'm just getting started in this obsession. I have been lurking, trying to learn, learn, learn before I start accumulating my brewery setup. I have found a HBT member that lives very close to me who has offered to show me his process. I do plan on taking advantage of his generosity. Razz

    Hello from Sandy Eggo, CA!

I'm a rank noob. I know nothing at all about homebrew except that I know what I like to drink. (I like the darker, thicker porters and stouts)I've been interested in homebrew for awhile and am ready to take the plunge! I'm hoping to learn a lot from you old veterans! Razz
