    Pressure Fermentation Help Needed

No because ambient temp affects the CO2 absorption - when you cool the keg to serving, it will be flat - i burst carbonate at 30psi for 2-4 days depending on* the style at serving temp - i do not roll or agitate the beer when carbonating

    Pressure Fermentation Help Needed

i would not put 5g into the keg. you will not have enough headspace depending on the yeast type - last thing you want is a bunch of blow off running through your spunding valve. i would recommend 4.5g max and use femcap if you are nervous. most of my ales are done between 5-10 PSI. you can...

Dual Tap Kegerator, do you need two kegs at all times

If you don't have a in-kegerator secondary regulator, I would add. Assuming your tank and primary are outside. Run a secondary inside, you can adjust to the style and or shut off 1 side. This allows you to also force carbonate on side and serve on the other as well

    Discouraging First Keg Experience

adding some jet fuel... you can ferment and serve in the same keg, eliminating any O2 exposure 🤔 bend your dip tube 1" off the bottom, fill only to 4g and use a spunding valve - you will pour with yeast for a few pints but then after that all glory. not to mention you're fermenting in a...

    Voss kviek yeast thoughts

the Yeast Bay Voss + WL American farmhouse is my custom blend for white IPA - spicy, slight citrus, smooth bitterness and fantastic. - i do let it sit for about 3-4 weeks before giving it a go to let the farmhouse dry it out. Pulled a bronze with this last year. I do not temp control, so it...

yep exactly that. First time seeing this as well. Did not really see any substantive reviews on such a device. Only really thought about it because I already have a Co2 reg sitting around from a duel tap conversion.

    Nitrogen adaptor for CO2 Regulator

Hey Everyone, Anyone use one of these adapters to hook up a CO2 regulator to a nitrogen/beer gas bottle to run a nitro tap? I am converting a wine fridge I salvaged to a nitro kegerator. I need a Nitrogen regulator but I came across an adaptor being advertised - I have an unused CO2 reg...

Voss Kveik how pronounced is the orange flavour ?

to get the orange out of Voss - you need to ferment 90F+. I was able to coax it out fermenting 95F for 4 days then ramped down. tasted like weak Orange Tang.

    Under pressure

food for thought - Fermenting under pressure also reduces ester creation. if you want the beer to be more yeast expressive - consider fermenting under 5PSI ~ 2 or 3 PSI. Going to 5+ will start to reduce these esters and can make certain traits in some styles difficult to achieve. with that...
