    Is it possible?

Bad idea in me experience: Caveats: if the closet is cool. If the beer is filtered. The issue I've found is that my beer is not stable. Even though my process is relatively clean long term warmish storage degrades the beer. I presume it's residual critters and yeast that keep working at...

    First Lager, any Tips?

A keezer w/o a PID or other temp controller will swing the temp a great deal. You might consider a dedicated temp control unit other than a standard thermostat.

    First Lager, any Tips?

Lager is really very simple. The only things that make it hard are 1. You must pitch a starter, and 2. You must control your temp in fermentation. If u can do these two additional steps you will find success. Else. Wait. Good luck!

Old thread but great yeast. Attenuated and doesn't get stuck. Vanillia clovey. Strong fermented.

should I bottle in Newcastle brown ale bottles?

No as a general rule. I find them useful to judge beer maturity. I use 1 per case to see how the beer is clearing.

I've got a case of beer I brewed in 1986 that I just retrieved from my parents' attic.
