    Hello from Texas

Howdy from Rowlett! I wasn't born Texan but I got here as quick as I could! Glad to see another North Texan around.

I added heavy cream to my wort!

Why not admit it was nasty? All have a good laugh at it. No shame in a failed experiment, especially one as crazy as this one.

That may of may not be the reason to call him out. You never know what people can do with photoshop though...

FINE... thats IT!!! I'm going to do it... SHENANIGANS! I'm calling SHENANIGANS on this whole thread. We've all been duped. Now the OP has no choice but to come defend himself. You cannot leave a challenge of shenanigans unanswered.

    Recommend Me a Beer Recipe

Deception Cream Stout is pretty good, very dark, creamy, and I think would look good poured into a goblet. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f68/deception-cream-stout-141483/ You could find some "Old Ale" recipes as well.

Do most people force carb or set it to serving PSI and let it carb normally?

8 kegs in and used the 30psi method every time. Never had an overcarbed beer. Just lucky I guess.

Do most people force carb or set it to serving PSI and let it carb normally?

Oh... Well... I don't actually KNOW the EXACT correlation... Just that it DOES have an effect!

Do most people force carb or set it to serving PSI and let it carb normally?

10-12ish is what I use. I think it depends on the hose length as well.

Do most people force carb or set it to serving PSI and let it carb normally?

I do 30psi for 48 hours then set to what ever I want to serve it at for another 48 hours or so and by then it's perfect.

This smells terrible (White Labs Belgian)

I tried it minutes after kegging it (un carbonated) and it was pretty bad, still a little sulfery, yeasty, and bitter. 36 hours later, its fully carbed, cleared up, and tastes amazing! The Honey Hibiscus Wheat is going to be a summer regular in my pipeline. It reminds me of a herbal...

First brew, missed out on the krausen??

I've never had much in the way of krausen, nothing that ever needed a blowoff tube at least, and more than 1/2 the batches (14 over the last 4 years) had pretty much none.

    I will build your IPA/IIPA (Part 2)

That looks great. Actually this will give me a chance to try two new techniques I've never tried before (First Wort Hopping, and Post-Boil Hopping).

    I will build your IPA/IIPA (Part 2)

    Are you fit or fat?

I'm 6'1" and 173 lbs, so pretty skinny but 100% out of shape. Cannot run for more than a few minutes before I start to wheeze and die (maybe my asthma has something to do that).

Anyone interested in opening a BrewPub - East of DFW

A lot of nice sub divisions out here east of Dallas. Here is your biggest most gigantic problem. The Flying Saucer I mean, its RIGHT THERE offa i30. If there was no Flying Saucer there the market would be even better. They would be a big competitor. However, if you rented space on The...

Having a party, want to offer a few, but not the whole keg!!

Also, check craigs list for 3 gallon kegs. Those are great for parties and fit perfectly in a 5 gallon igloo cooler. Just do a keg to keg transfer and let them have at the 3 gallon.
