    Man I blew I think... I have tottally forgotten about some yeast i put in a flask that I harvested from a Apple Cider and a Christmas ale I did back in December. The flasks had bungs and airlocks I planned on putting them in vials but I got super busy at work and tottaly forgot about it...

    When or how much of the "mango" did you add?... I'm playing off a good base wheat beer i made last year and want to introduce some other flavors.. mango wheat sounds like a good start. I only need to know how you introduced it in your recipe.

    Pull a pint or wine glass its probably done... Back on topic... I usually do the two days at 30 psi myself. I have to say bobby isnt off by saying its poor planning. I often think up a recipe too late to get it done by that holiday or that game... I plan on starting to brew now with better...

    Being a cigar guy i smoke atleast one a week... I try not to fuss over the cigar so much.. What i can say is find a cigar that suites you... and enjoy different beers with that cigar. You'll be amazed at what the beer contributes to the cigar and how the cigar returns the favor when you sip that...

    hmm.. I cant find the TS2-010 on the Lovecontrols site.. weird. It could be an older model or a "pre-TS-13010"... grainger seems to have them i'm sure they could answer the question if you gave them a shout.

    Does the BrewApprentise do refills? isnt that southern jersey just around exit 92 or something? I dont know for sure because I usually take back roads from my sisters house in red bank.

    worst thats happened to me on brew day... is after brewing a really expensive IPA my glass thermometer broke as i was taking temps before pitching... I pitched it anyway since the new thermometers dont have Mecury in them a little straining into the secondary and a careful eye i drank it...

    UPDATE: Had some friends over to watch some football this past weekend and boy this red was a hit... the honey really shines in this beer as the abv was somewhere around 8.5 and the beer doesnt drink "hot". cheers!

    So i added to the secondary... of my hardcider and left it for about 2 weeks... i can see straight through the carboy now... and the color is perfect. I think i'm going to taste some soon and maybe bottle it. Thanks for the help. On a side note, is there a length of time you would leave...

    Would it be so bad to add the wood chips to the keg and carb up... taste test for a few weeks or so, then remove the chips?:confused:... I'm also thinking that you could hang the chips from the lid of the keg so that once you pull a few pints out its not sitting in the beer anymore?:drunk...

    Hi HBT, I've become obssessed with re-using my yeast and have many different vessels in my fridge saving the little guys for my next batch. I'm running short of space and have now two of my starter beakers with airlocks holding cakes for me to wash... Yeah not happy with this approach at all...
