    It is quick carbonation if you do everything properly.. and the biggest thing next to pressure is temps.. and actually temps is almost more important than pressure levels..

    Ok just racked to secondary the ESB Alt Bier in the OP.. got the FG down to 1.012 where the beercalculator suggested 1.014-1.017 oh well.. I had a half pint of this very tasty brew and added 4oz Willamette for dry hopping in secondary .. Hope to pull it out by wed so i can force carb and have it...

    Nuh uh, YOUR vacuum sealer sucks!

    Just ordered one from Costco My mom knew we had been wanting one for both hops and other things my wife and i do for the kids an such.. sorry to say it late but they had a $20 off discount on one regular $159 for $139 online only.. I know their regular "store" price is $149..

    Found a place in Arkansas that sells cases 12 cans for $78.90 and they wont ship it, you have to pick it up.. Lucky for me i will be about 25 miles from there next month I am have added it to the schedule! Why not right!

    First did you make a yeast starter best way to tell if your yeast is good? Second it may be too cool depending on what yeast your using. warm it up a bit middle to upper 60's atleast. 18 hours isnt all that long especially with the lower temps..

    how to wort for yeast starter

    Looks like i might be brewing wort this weekend and canning it. I have no more room in fermenters yet.. only have 3 5gal ones so far and they are all still in primary.. and i started in brewing in October but these have only been for less than a week.. :)
