Question for the pales/ipa's what recipes did you use?

Fantastic! I have a single hop nugget pale in secondary with 3oz'S nugget and I had to add 1oz chinook too so it's now not quite a single hop ale. I do look onward to Monday when I can do the all chinook ale!

For me so far normally by the 4th pint its as clear as it going to get which is pretty clear so far.. and yes i do drink the non clear beer! :) It may cause a bit of added flatulence.. haha

Oh by the way did i mention i have 4#s of Chinook too..cost under $40 including shipping

took one bottle i pulled off my keg using a modified conterpressure bottle filler to my lhbs B&B and for its "style" they thought i did a good job.. they didnt like i didnt get my hops from them but i got everything else..i sure liked $0.29 per oz of Willamette vs their price of $3.00 an Oz..

What temp is it the beer that is.. Turn up the pressure too!

About the late hop additions i have read in the last couple days since i posted this about those and how awesome it makes the beers.. so i think i will keep 2oz at "60" sometimes it ends up being more like 80 min.. and shift the rest to the last 20 min or so as Nateo and Strat thru the guitar...

Funny you mention Hop tea.. years ago way before i started any homebrewing.. I bought some hops and actually made tea out of it.. mixed in some annise and it was really good.. yeah bitter too but then again i like it that way. you know what they say.. I am bitter and i like it that way :)

Have you tried it yet? I had a pint off a keg i put in last night with dinner tonight and while it wasnt fully carbonated it was still quite tasty.. I also have my pressure around 20psi right now..and origionally had it up to 30 and rocked it back and forth for about 75 seconds. then let it sit...

Oh i do the same thing but i always taste my beer by draining it out of my thief and into a glass..I think its good to see what its doing along the process its really a great way to learn about the various flavors and to help understand everything better.. besides you get a small sample :)
