For peace of mind I emailed the supplier from china. He basically said "all your base are belong to us" so I feel much more comfortable about using these. <-- note sarcasm.

    GOOD on Netflix STREAMING?

The IT crowd is a very funny show from BBC that is on netflix. SWMBO and I both like FireFly and Being Human. FireFly is a must watch. After watching the series check out Serenity, which is a movie that was made to end the series. Being Human Both US and UK are really good shows.

Yeast immobilization: magic beans of fermentation

Since the yeast beads will not add much flavor I was thinking about making beads of turbo yeast to add after the initial growth period of the primary bead-less yeast. Would this allow the flavors we want from the yeast plus rapid cleanup an maturation of the beer? Edit: Just remembered turbo...

    Use reclaimed sanke

Fwiw Pub kegs are sixtels or 5.2 gallons. Also, you can reuse but they need to be clean using a low pressure technique.

    Use reclaimed sanke

I just switched my homebrew to pub kegs. So far I like them. They are light weight and easily breakdown for cleaning. They look professional so I wouldn't worry about end users and they are cheaper than ss so if they keep them you aren't out as much.

super cheap solenoid valves or junk?

They must have relist at 11x the normal price. If you click "find more like this" there are more available for around $6 each. They certainly are the cheapest, least desirable option but I am hoping they will work to get started. I am planning on replacing them slowly as I can afford it.

super cheap solenoid valves or junk?

So it would seem. Price really jumped up. I bought 5 for $31. My build has been going slow but I will post a review when I start using them. At that price why not use Honeywell VC valves? They are cheaper and readily available since they are used in hot water heating.

We could pay at the time of order. You could estimate the cost of shipping and if we are short we could make a second round of payments.

need source for large plastic buckets

My local market has 15 gallon HDPE barrels for sale used for about $15. You might be able to find them cheaper on Craigslist. You can find them new here:http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/default.aspx?catid=459&parentcatid=458 They are food grade and should fit what you are looking for.

    a few questions about Mash/Mashout/sparge

I am new to all grain and after my first couple batches I am hooked. I am setting up an eHerms system, however, I have a few questions about Mash/Mashout/sparge. First if using herms to maintain temp, should I raise temp to 168 prior to mashout so I dont have to worry about sparge water temp...

Yeast immobilization: magic beans of fermentation

Let us know how it goes slickfish. I would like to see this process in a grain to glass contest. Would pitching yeast then switching to recirculating under pressure after 3 days give us beer in half the time it does now? Maybe the next brew day I can try this with one batch.
