    Less Expensive Can Seamer

I don’t have any 500ml cans other than “Can Fresh” cans only 12’s left.

    Less Expensive Can Seamer

As far as I can tell the “can fresh” cans are commercial cans. I can’t find a difference even with calipers. Anyone want to send me a couple of cans from a different system to see if they work?

My wife makes them. The winter windfall is a wine label, I don’t know the size. The other is a beer label 4”x3.5” .

Voss Kveik yeast is a monster

Brewed a barley wine on Friday. Pitched 1 omega Voss around 2:00pm on Friday into 1.107 ~95F wort turned the room heater on and let it go. Took sample today it is at 1.030 and dropping. Sample tasted great and I couldn’t even pickup any alcohol. It is still a little sweet so I imagine it will...

    Less Expensive Can Seamer

I am not trying to convince anyone I am just laying out my logic. It makes sense for me not you and that’s fine. I know I could make a bottom plate with a 3d printer and I could get a top maid by any machinist with a lathe. I am not sure regular cans don’t work on it but they call out can fresh...

    Less Expensive Can Seamer

It is not, though they are hooking up an 18 volt battery and getting 200 ish cans a charge according to some some sources.

    Less Expensive Can Seamer

I will be getting one and maybe kick the idea to Bobby_M or Jaybird to see if they have a machinist connection to make a cam/plate for this. I don’t have space to store 2500 cans so 100 bucks for cans is a deal.

    Less Expensive Can Seamer

It only takes “Can Fresh” cans, which cost 3-4 times what other cans cost. It says in the video that someone could make the does on a lathe.

Boil kettle condenser - no overhead ventilation needed

I agree entirely. It is essentially poaching of the idea for scalable profit. unfortunately I think it will be everywhere at the next nano con.

Boil kettle condenser - no overhead ventilation needed

They have the defense of the “our” meaning there particular style of condenser. Considering you pioneered it at this scale, let’s hope their customers google “steam condenser”.

Boil kettle condenser - no overhead ventilation needed

I will take a 2 inch but I will need a reducer my kettle has 1.5” tc’s I will also need another integrated ripple element. Nothing like coming back to electric brewing and having all new parts to upgrade to. Expect a order as soon as I clear it with the boss.

Boil kettle condenser - no overhead ventilation needed

Any idea when Bobby_M will be getting the 1.5” back in stock. It seems to be removed from the site just 2”. I can get to thru google but it isn’t listed if you go thru the drop down menu. *edit* haha I didn’t see the three posts above mine sorry for a repeat.

Boil kettle condenser - no overhead ventilation needed

So I just finished re-reading the whole thread and I have some thoughts... 1. This whole system works kinda like a hvac system. You expand a gas (steam) and then force a phase change to release the the unwanted heat. 2. As the steam expands it will cool due to it displacing other gas ( work)...
