    You think sliced fruit or should i use the food processor? And if I dip the fruit in vodka it should kill any unwanted junk with out changing the flavor?

    Cider in first fermentor for 40 days...

    This is my first attempt at a cider and it has been in the ferm for 40 days now. I decided to just use the organic cider without adding any sugars or other flavors. Today I decided to taste it and it was very bland. Not bad by any means but just blahhh... Almost like watered down apple flavor...

    Yea I've heard about the Sanyo version... Has anyone used a cheaper fridge? Im trying to do this on a budget and use CL!

    Question on the right mini fridge for a kegarator.

    Just purchased the keg tower standard kit from kegconnection.com. This kit gives me everything I need to make a kegarator but doesn't recommend a fridge... What are the best sizes or easiest to make? And let me know any advice you may have! Thanks

    Do i need to ad more yeast to a yeast cake?

    I brewed an India brown on 11/18 with 2 packets of Nottingham yeast... I am about to move it into the second fermenter. I would like to try reusing the yeast cake... What steps should I take or have worked for you? I'm brewing a simple pale ale next ... Thanks!

    First Attempt at a cider!!

    I put it all together this weekend... 4 gals straight cider and yeast. After 6 hours the lock was going crazy but calmed down today. Made another 4 gal with brown sugar and one cinnamon stick...     I haven't brewed yet wanted to hear some advice because this is a very make shift recipe... 4 gallons of organic apple cider 1 lb of brown sugar 2 sticks of cinnamon 2 packets of Nottingham Now comes putting it all together... any advice or tips to brewing cider?

    Christmas is around the corner and I'm thinking of asking the wife for kegging gear... What are the basics I will need and what do you think it will run cost wise? I will also need a kegarator but that will be the simple part.
