    First ever homebrew! Inspired by my friend's love of pumpkin beers 2 Below clone attempt SWMBO does the label design...I brew the beer :rockin: Have been printing the labels onto regular computer paper with a laser printer and using a glue stick to attach them. Works great.

    bja, it sounds like your process is identical to what I did. Do you mix in the Fermcap or just add the drops onto the krausen? I'll try adding the Fermcap before I aerate and hope the mixing helps.

    cleaning bottles

    I notice a very thin film if I rinse immediately but do not store upside down at first. Once I switched to storing upside down for at least 24 hours the film went away.

    Brewpubs - Trinity (if they have a saison on tap, try it!) and Phantom Canyon Breweries - Bristol Brewing Co. My favorite is their Oatmeal Stout but likely won't be available when you're there - winter seasonal.

    Easy Partial Mash Brewing (with pics)

    DB and/or others, I've read that brewing with pumpkin requires (or at least is recommended) a partial mash to convert any starches present in the pumpkin. After reading your descriptions, I'm much more confident in trying my first partial mash. I'm wondering if anyone has a good recipe...
