    Brewery/taproom suggestions near Boca Raton?

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. We ended up at Bangin' Banjo in Pompano and Prosperity in Boca Raton, both of which had some really good beers. Jess at Bangin' Banjo was very friendly and more than happy to discuss their beers, what they were looking to do, etc..

Fermentation control is almost done. Kudos to FuzzeWuzze, ame, Elco, Thorrak and many others for their countless hours on BrewPi, Fuscus and Fermentrack! I ended up going with three compact/dorm refrigerators and Fermentrack on the software side. Hardware is the standard fare of RPi3, Unos and...

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

Thanks, Thorrak! The lack of an FAQ entry is perfectly acceptable considering your 4 millisecond response time. On a different note, people might find it useful to include a note similar to brewpi's in the Uno flash page of the app in regards to RevA or RevC: "Make sure you have the...

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

Anyone have any issues saving device functions assignment? It appears I'm able to set a temp sensor or pin to the appropriate "Device Function" dropdown via the 192.x.x.x/devices/x/sensors page, but after clicking "Assign" and the page refreshes, it still shows "<DEVICE> NOT set." at the top of...

Thanks guys! More so than the couch being too far away from the taps is that the path to them is in front of the dart board....:smh:

Pretty much done with the building at this point. Still have to finish up herms setup and build a deck out back. Before. After.

Control panel build and taps/display. Can't really tell in the last picture, but the control panel is mounted on an arm so it can be pulled out from the wall.

    Show us your bar!!!!!

Great work! I'm jealous. Only thing I can suggest is a HBT BBQ this summer at your place. July is good for me. We just need an address.:ban:

Another bar build - Speakeasy style

Awesome counter top! Where did you get the material for it? I'm clumsy enough that if you invite me over for a drink I'll probably unintentionally spill it and accelerate the aging process.

Entertainment center thing (ECT): Start of dartboard backing: I had run out of wood before I started the liquor cabinet. Fortunately (for me) my father-in-law let someone cut and bale hay on his property and the kid baling it dropped a round bale in the wrong direction on top of the...

    Deprecated's Garage Brewery

Thanks, Mongoose. The pvc coming out of the back middle of the keezer collar has a cap on it and a cutout to direct the return air to the right corner. The fan you are asking about is blowing that return air (hopefully) down into the pvc floor with wire shelving on top. You can't see them...

New insulation in wellhouse. Also got keezer taken care of. I ran three 3" pvc conduits to the back of my taps. The left conduit is for beer lines and air to taps and the right conduit is for return air. The middle conduit was a "just in case" should I need to run a cooling line and have to...

    Order delays with stainlessbrewing.com?

Thanks for the reassurance, Dcpcooks. I kind of figured that might be the case but just thought I'd check. I am a repeat customer with them and agree that the quality is very good. I was fortunate in my first order with them being filled in a couple of days so I didn't know what the norm might be.

    Order delays with stainlessbrewing.com?

Anyone else experienced recent order delays with stainlessbrewing.com? I placed an order on Feb. 2 and received a "Your Order is Processing" email on Feb. 5. After not hearing any more since Feb. 5 I left a voicemail and sent an email the morning of Feb. 15 and have yet to get a reply.

A fair amount of progress that I'll try to document in order... I switched gears to the attached well house: It had ceiling joists that were installed underneath the top plate of the exterior walls. They were oak 2x4 that I could repurpose so I removed them and installed 2x6 ceiling joists on...

Nice Mini Fridge for Fermentation on Sale

This was a "duh" moment for me after reading your post, Justin. I might over-analyze things (and bears might **** in the woods), and putting a blow-off tube in the side didn't even cross my mind.

Nice Mini Fridge for Fermentation on Sale

I picked up a few of these on an impulse buy and I think there might be a couple of options for using a 6.5 gallon plastic bucket in them. Option 1: Set the fermenter on the bottom shelf as shown in jmpreiks picture above. I think it would be awfully tight to bend a blow off tube in the space...
