    Im brewing bm's centennial blonde as we speek and this is my first time useing a ferm cabinet. Do i let the ferm start at 75 then drop the temp to 65, or just pitch and let cool. Im using notty dry yeast Thanks all!!

    Thanks all for compiling all this info.. this really works great but i still have to much flow and im using two mixers and ten feet of 3/16 line at 12psi.. should i use more? any feed back would be appreciated.

    Im also a noob but ive never heard of more o.g. being a problem.. my hydro says its calibrated at 60 deg. maybe that has something to do with it, or maybe your thermometer. eitherway good for you at least its not to low...

    I just aquired a 14 inch 44 tip burner from a friend and im wondering if this is overkill for the 15 gallon keggle im building. I have seen ratings from 200,000 to 350,000 btu's for this burner.:rockin:

    I made an american brown ale with the recipe generator on beertools. It turned out more like a stout with all the chocolate malt. The calculator said it fit the style 100% but ive never tasted a brown like this? This is my first full scale AG batch and i need to know if i should use this...
