I mill it at the LHBS - so i am using the same mill now as when was doing BIAB. Been thinking a mill will be my next investment.

measure volume by the markings on the back of the bayou classic pot, and the markings on the big mouth bubbler plastic. There was some wort in the bottom of the pot i could't get to go thru the ball-vavle after it go down so far in the pot. From there went into the pump, out of the pump and...

i'll take 1104 and 1105 - i broke two of them a few months ago and swore them off. I don;t really care about the abv - so i just use a refractometer. It gets me a close enough read.

I under estimated the amount of loss to the pump, lines, and therminator.... I started with almost 6 gallons and the using the pump and the chiller only ended up with about 4-1/2 gallons in the better bottle. I didn't realize I would lost that much. How to you guys handle this if you want...

i gave a few friends a couple of my beers to try and one of they came back to me that it has a metalic finish. What causes this?

Got mine today. This is my first plastic fermentor but my only feedback is some areas of the plastic mold are more flexible then others. Maybe that is common with better bottles- so not sure it is a big deal. Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew
