    Thanks again for the reply.....yes it is red/white and I cut off the connectors and used bare wire and it didn't make any difference.....I tried to calibrate and put it in water with a lot of ice...had to put in an offset of -10 to get it to go down to 32 but when I placed it in some hot water...
