Cream Ale Cream of Three Crops (Cream Ale)

I brewed 10 gallons of this back in January. The I had the first 5 gallons in a keg in about 3 weeks. I thought it was all right. Probably just a little too green. The other 5 gallons sat in a carboy for a while and then I figured I would try to add something to make the second 5 gallons...

    Jokster

Yeah I found a few different clone recipes and some Golden strong recipes. Then took a little bit from each one to build my recipe.

    Jokster

I bought a bomber of Pranqster and did a side by side the other night. My beer came out with nice fruity earthy aromas and a silky smooth mouth feel. Mine is a little lighter probably because I used pilsner instead of 2 row. Tasted really good.

Session Saison for the summer ~4%

I am thinking starting around 68 and going up into the mid to high 70s for fermentation. I figure that should help with the funky stuff.

    Jokster

My wife wanted me to try to clone North Coast Pranqster for her birthday. So I had 2 months to come up with a recipe to accomplish that and get it fermenting for the party. I found a few people talking about making this beer. They all went in different directions. I took them all plus standard...

Session Saison for the summer ~4%

I am trying to come up with a Session Saison for the summer lawnmower season. Looking for a dry crisp beer with some flavor. Really need advice on hops and hop pairings for this. Belma sounds pretty interesting to me for a saision. I will probably go with 3711 yeast after washing it from my run...

Mixing yeast Wyeast 1388 (blegian golden strong) with cultured yeast Pranqster

I harvested yeast from 8 bottles of Pranqster. I put the dregs of 4 bottles in to separate quart mason jars with 250 or so ml of 1.020 wort. Kept them nice and warm and let them go. They took a 4 days to show a some of activity and some krausen. So the next day I added about 250 - 300 ml...

    Just Another Brew Day...(Pics)

Just sampled this recipe as I grabbed a sample to test gravity. All I can say is WOW nice light taste of citrus followed up by some pepper bite ate the end. 1.010 after 13 days. Used WLP 400 and got about 13 gallons out of the boil kettle. Also added about an ounce of Ginger too. So I will...

How many gallons of Brandon O's Graff have been made?

Just did another 10 gallons. This time used real fresh pressed cider. Also user caramel 80L instead of 60 because I had some on hand. OG was 1.072 Used nottingham instead of us-05 I did last time. +10 = 3211
