What would be the reason for a ball valve on the recirculation port of your mash tun? Im building my system and just got chugger pump, i put a ball valve on the discharge of the pump but always see pics of others systems with a ball valve connected to the top recirculation port of the kettle as...
Just built this out of scraps just laying around havent used it yet but i think it will be nice to move around until my eherms is built in the basement and the pumps and chiller are permently afixed to the table. Let me know what you guys think.
I got these ez clean ball valves from brewers hardware for my spike brewing mash tun that should be arriving any day now! Planning on these being on my entire electric brewery in the future!

I have a 300 micron and it works amazingly. Go to the Arbor fab Web site they are a little cheaper there i think plus free shipping! Just use in the boil for hop additions.
