Entire Homebrew set up w/refridgerator $650- Nashville, TN

I am selling my entire collection of homebrewing stuff that I have accumulated over the last couple of years. I never got into all grain brewing, but I do have a few empty keg shells that I was going to convert to brew-kettle, HLT, etc. The keg shells were all bought legally. There are so...

Hazelnut Extract - when to use?

Let me know how this turns out. I just picked up the same kit this weekend and the guy at my LHBS said that when he had this kit, using the whole bottle of hazelnut made it too strong in the beer. I am going to brew my soon, but will only go with half the bottle in the secondary and see how that...

How to make a Cherry Wheat Extract

I am curious to know how that turns out. My wife really likes the SA cherry wheat. I think it has a small "cough syrup" taste to it though. I bet the fresh cherries would be great in the fermenter though.

    Foam during the boil

I just brewed a vanilla caramel cream ale and I had the same thing. I had a lot of DME in the BK. I ended up having to kill the heat a few times on my propane burner to keep from boiling over.

BEST Holiday Extract Ale Recipe? (semi beginniner)

Wow, that chocolate orange holiday ale sounds pretty interesting. I brewed the Brewers Best Holiday Ale and I wish I had gone with something else. I am going to leave it in bottles for a while longer to see if it will mellow out. Right now it has a bit of alcohol bite on the backend.

CO2 Regulator(s) multiple pressure keg setup

I am building a 4 tap kegerator from a fridge I picked up on craigslist. I know I want to at least have two regulators, so I can force carbonate one or two kegs, while still enjoying some already carbonated beer too. My question is, since I am going to have 3 taps for beer plus one for root beer...

    Rack lager to secondary?

I brewed my first lager a week and a half ago. It has been in my "lager fridge" since at 50 degrees. I was planning to lager it for at least a month, if not a little longer. Should I rack this over to a secondary, and if so, at what point should I rack it over? It is a honey brown lager.
