    Its outside, but the snow is to frozen to surround it. Its in a 5 gallon bucket fermentor. It was about 150 when I through it in, The wort looked better than any batch that I have made.     My instructions say that my wort needs to be cooled rapidly. If I stuck it outside for a bit in the winter cold would it harm my beer? It is capped. Its actually outside right now.........Should I pitch yeast as soon as I bring it in?

    Is this a good idea? If you live in a city with snow......Drop it right outside your door. That seem to do the trick for me.
