    pale malt vs 2r base malt

    I have this recipe for an IPA, it calls for 12.75 pounds of 2 row pale malt, and 14 oz of caramel 60, for a 5 gallon batch. Is there really a difference if I use Briess 2 row brewers malt intead of the pale malt? thanks

    The thing is, It takes 3-4 caps per bottle to get one correctly caped. Its pretty frustrating!!!!

    Just bottled my hefe weizen in recycled Erdinger bottles. A friend of mine saves them for me from his restaurant!!. I wash then and sanitize then, but I have a very dificult time trying to cap them, I have the red baron capper and regular caps. Is there a special bell or caps for this bottles...

    how much munich yeast to use?

    I made my hefeweizen today, I ended up with an OG of 1.052 a little more than I was hoping, guess that decoction worked really well!!!!. I pitched 1 packet (11 grams) of munich yeast, should that be enough for 5 gallons?
