Has anyone ever used the commercial sanitizer that Sam's Club sells? It only costs 5 dollars and some change for a gallon.

Nothing out of the ordinary with bottle sanitation. Have a cream ale in fermenter now and will bottle in a few days. Plan on logging every step of the way to see what happens and have somethi my to go by if they come out flat again

MaxStout, that is exactly how I mix the priming sugar. Edf713, bottles were kept in room that stayed around 68-75 degrees. I usually sample one bottle after 2 weeks then 2 bottles after 3 weeks. I also set aside about 10 bottles to condition for a month or 2.

On my last 2 batches, I have had problems with some bottles being nearly flat. I would get the hiss when popping the cap but after pouring into glass the head would disappear immediately and not much carbonation when drinking. I bottled one 5 gallon batch between 3 different bottle sizes...

Yeah I've used coils about 4 times and each time have had to scrub at least twice to get all the krausen. Guess I'll just order the extension and see. Thanks

I have a 7 gallon brew bucket and also purchased the ftss system. I am now looking to purchase the extension could to both do small test batches and to just reach lower into the fermenter as well. My concern is the possibility for this to leak inside the fermenter. Has anyone experienced this?

Currently only brew extract due to space limitations. Will the robobrew be able to hold enough grain for higher gravity beers? Would like to make some styles in the 11-15% abv range

I am an extract brewer due to space confinement. I really like White Oak produced by The Bruery out in California. Does anyone know how to come close to replicating this beer with extract ingredients?
