    I washed the yeast pretty good I only have two layers the white yeast on the bottom and brown liquid. So if I did that whole yeast cake out of the bottom I could pitch the whole thing? Does the yeast cake need to be broken up prior to use?

    Firestone Keg? -- Have you seen this?

    I have a firestone keg. It looks like you pulled the thread post out. You will have to separate the two pieces and reinstall the thread post with some food grade locktite.
