I was concerned about the distance as well. From the utility room sink RO system to the brew kettle is about 25 feet. No problems.

A bar across my brew kettle with a float valve works for me, recommended by buckeye hydro.

Good to know. I also have a Hanna (HI98611). I find it very reliable.

I have nothing concrete to back this up, but I find holding my hand over the sample provides no drift. I have bright spots over my work table.

Curious what your concern is. Spike has always stood behind their products. You order it. It's shipped. It's either intact or it's not. A binary question. If problems, they will rectify. If not, enjoy their superior products.

Well... there's secondary, tripledary, and quadrupledary…... I hear the more you transfer you're beer to other vessels, the better it tastes...….:bigmug:

I added buckthorn wood chips to my quadrupledery. Now it smells like cheese and vomit. Is this normal ?
