Sounds interesting. About a year ago I tried a honey ale and made the mistake of using off the shelf honey (the brand that comes in a plastic bottle shaped like a bear). It was not good.

Dear agitated brewer, It is not the fault of your LHBS that they are out of what you need. Stop yelling at them and use dry yeast substitutes, order what they have, and adjust your grain bill accordingly......
