    Bottle conditioned carbonation issue

So I brewed a modified honey porter, 10 days in the primary, 15 in the secondary, bottled using 1/3 a cup of honey. Now been two weeks in the bottle and I have next to no carbonation. However it does make a very mild barley wine. Now when I pop a warm bottle it's pretty good. When cold I got...

So no crap there I was, Midwest supplies was doing flat rate shipping for 3 days only. New ss wort chiller, 18 in mash paddles, and two kits for less than the price of one HBIP wort chiller. I will still go to HBIP when I need grains and such, but Midwest also gives a military discount. Still...

Sobering new to the island, I have shopped at HBIP. He is crazy expensive for hardware. He has decent prices for grain, considering that it's an island and not mainland. If you could get a burner for less than a hundred or a wort chiller for about the same I would be game!

    Secondary Fermentation WH Honey Porter

Doing a similar version, I racked mine through a modified cane/strainer combo in 8 days. I use the carboy for that good finishing of a beer. It technically wasn't needed, but it gave me the opportunity to "filter".
