    My 8-foot bar build

The work surface will sit flush with (or close to:cross:) the kegerator top. The kegerator is currently on 3" casters but I will remove those and put the feet on it once the bar's ready to use.

    My 8-foot bar build

I wanted to get an idea of where to put the kegerator and the height it would be at in relation to the work table and the bar top.

And it begins! This is the base.

    My 8-foot bar build

And here's the plan for the bar. This bar is called the "kegger bar" and is designed for the builder to install a "keg box", basically a refrigerator to house the keg with the tower coming out of the top and onto the bar top. Since I already have a kegerator, I scrapped the keg box idea and...

    My 8-foot bar build

A few months back I bought a 3-tap kegerator and ever since have been dreaming of building a bar to surround it. The space I plan on building it was previously occupied by a gigantic dining room table that we never used, thus that entire space was being wasted. I ended up convincing the wife...

    Brewing/Bar Area Build

I'm not a designer or anything but I am currently building an 8-foot straight bar to house my kegerator. I've never made anything out of wood before and I'm almost finished with it. I bought the plans from www.barplan.com which gives you access to all the plans on the site. You can also...

    Show us your Kegerator

Love the chalkboard paint all over the entire thing!

    Show us your Kegerator

@BPal: Raenon's right! Went and picked it up at their warehouse and got the internet sale price.

    Show us your Kegerator

Here's mine. Currently on tap is Stone IPA and my American Pale Ale. 3rd and final tap is reserved for my Belgian blond currently in primary. In the process of building my bar around it!

    Root Beer Smell Won't Leave!

I've read somewhere that baking soda will help get rid of the smell. Not sure on how much to add but it said to let it sit in the keg for 24 hours

    Increasing pressure in kegerator

So I received the replacement regulator the other day after the place I bought it at found it defective. I hooked it up to my tank, turned the gas on, and poured a glass...still all foam! The keg had not been hooked up to any CO2 for a week, and everyday I would release the pressure in the keg...

    California Common - Fruity Esters

What type of hops did you use? White Labs says the optimal fermentation temp is 58-65 F so you were fermenting at the higher end which may have produced some fruity esters. Also, what was your target and actual FG? If fermentation hadn't completed than you may not have given the yeast time to...

    My Basement Bar Build

It sounds vaguely familiar. I'm sure my parents would know because it seems like everyone knows everyone around there. And it's definitely a baseball town! I kind of miss being back there, I'd love to be able to own some land and expand my brewing. Maybe some day, then I'll be able to build a...

    Increasing pressure in kegerator

Called customer service today and they said it sounds like a creeping regulator. They're going to send a replacement. Hopefully that fixes it

    My Basement Bar Build

Very jealous! I grew up in Michigan and moved to California 5 years ago. My family still lives in Blissfield near the Ohio border. I wish California homes had basements...yours is bigger than my whole house! Great job man and keep up the good work :mug:

    Flat beer (so far)

Is it carbed yet? If you think you forgot to add the priming sugar you can always buy carbonating tabs and pop them in each bottle

    Increasing pressure in kegerator

Came home from work yesterday and the pressure was almost up to 50 again. I decided to shut off the gas and purge the keg. Seems like the beer is now way over carbonated cause a put just comes out completely foamy. Unfortunately the place where I bought the kegerator/regulator isn't open on...
