    +1 I manage a k-12 campus network, and people ask me why facebook is blocked .. I tell them I don't sign the checks - they had better speak to them... whoever pays the piper calls the tune..

    ask them to open port 22, then make a SSH tunnel to your home computer...launch HBT remotely (and any other website)... or try a public proxy server (but they have probably blocked most sites like that as well).. But, is it worth the grief ?

    Do I need a starter?

    Once I switched to liquid yeast, and started harvesting/washing, I always try to do a starter to prove viability. If the yeast has been stored for maybe a week - 10 days, I might skip the starter (like I just did with Sat's batch of HPA (which had a lag time of maybe 12 hours..I used WLP001)...

    Computer Trouble

    sometimes when the fan doesn't work, the unit will not boot (failsafe)...not even get to POST screen... clean that CPU fan, and also check the button battery on the MB - they do fail and they are cheap to replace... Let us know about the replacement PSU results..

    Welcom to HBT - I would just keep it in the primary 4 weeks or so..check gravity to be sure before you bottle
