    Robobrew Again

I just got one and tested it the other day with water. It took almost exactly 1.5 hours to reach a boil from cold tap water. I think that is pretty good considering it's 120 volt. It has a timer you can set for up to 23 hours so you can set it up and have it ready to mash when you wake up...

    Mash&Boil vs Robo Brew

I am close to pulling the trigger on this, I was close to buying the Grain Father, but this thing is so much cheaper and does the same thing. Sounds like it works pretty well.

    Amoretti Purees

Has anybody on here tried them? I decided to buy a few to test out. Curious if anyone has tried and their results/thoughts if you have. I did a quick search, but didn't see anything on here. Curious for others experiences and dosing rates. I will probably add right before kegging or at...

    Extreme heat tolerant yeast strain

When I lived in Hawaii, I would ferment saisons in the garage with WLP 565 and it handled heat very well. Upper 80's/lower 90's.

New product - Brew-Boss Brew Stand with Integrated Boom Hoist

Wow!! Looks cool! My only recommendation would be to put in on casters so you can roll it around.

Use of UPS for Beverage Center

Your first paragraph is confusing to me, sounds wrong and should probably be deleted. The transformers are on the poles because the typical distribution is 12.47kv and your house uses a different voltage which is 120/240. Distribution voltage is higher because less amperage is required which...

the foamless finish adaptor for the the last straw

I am curious also. I have the Last Straw bottle filler and tried using it once and I couldn't get anything but foam. Northern Brewer even sent me a replacement Last Straw, but I haven't used it yet out of fear of wasting beer. I have the old Blichmann beer gun and it works perfect. I do want...

1/2 Tier Brew Stand? Not sure what to call it

The pump is awesome, but I recommend the stainless head. The plastic one strips really easy. The pump is silent and doesn't get hot to the touch. I prefer it over my Chugger and March pump.

    Disney area Must-go-tos

Orlando- Orlando Brewing Company is good. Went there when we went on a Disney cruise. Also Ten10 Brewing company, both were great.

    Cracked fast fermenter

I doubt you can fix it. With the crack being where it is, I would think it would be impossible to fix.

    New! Blichmann BeerGun V2.0

The only problem with the original Blichmann beer gun was that the rubber tip would sometimes pop off and cause beer to keep flowing until you disconnect the ball lock fitting. Happened to me many times. They have now redisgned how the rubber tip is attached and it should be the way to go. I...

    New! Blichmann BeerGun V2.0

The Blichmann works great. I have been using it for several years and then bought the Last Straw because I thought it looked even better. I could not fill a single bottle without it foaming over. Others have had good experiences though. The new Blichmann beer gun is even better...

    Diptubes for TC Ports

I would go with the press fit. I got a custom made one from Norcal awhile back and I couldn't get it to work. I had to cut it and use high temp tubing to connect it. The press fit is an awesome idea!!!

    WTB Used 15g-30g oak barrels

There is a brewery in Richmond, VA that I just found out about that sells 5 gallon barrels for $30 when they are finished. Isley Brewing I think.
