When I lived in Hawaii, I would ferment saisons in the garage with WLP 565 and it handled heat very well. Upper 80's/lower 90's.

The pump is awesome, but I recommend the stainless head. The plastic one strips really easy. The pump is silent and doesn't get hot to the touch. I prefer it over my Chugger and March pump.

I would go with the press fit. I got a custom made one from Norcal awhile back and I couldn't get it to work. I had to cut it and use high temp tubing to connect it. The press fit is an awesome idea!!!

There is a brewery in Richmond, VA that I just found out about that sells 5 gallon barrels for $30 when they are finished. Isley Brewing I think.
