So, Tell me all the reasons using a pump instead of CO2 is a bad idea when I am using a whole house filter to filter beer that I am going to put in a keg.
If you still have the stout stainless steel conical I live 30 minutes south of DC. I would be willing to drive part way to meet you. I have been wanting to upgrade for a while now. Email me at [email protected] if you are interested. :rockin:
I thought that I had ruined a batch of Oaked Arrogant Bastard ale Clone I had made. I let it sit for 9 months and it came out wonderful. It was awful the first time I tried it.

If you go to Dogfishhead.com and buy the extreme brews book, there are a bunch of recipes Sam has included in it. One of them is for the version os Tej that he uses to make ******* Brew.

It came out like crap. I would not use it to clean grease off car parts. I just have not had time to dump it yet. I don't beleive that it is the fault of the kit. I made a few bad decisions when I made it. Givce it a try and I hope that you can have good things to say about it. I am saddened by...
This came out so bad that I do not want to talk about it any more. I still have it in bottles. It ended up tasting liek some sort of bad wine. I am not sure what went wrong, but this did not turn out right. I am going to try it again in the future, but for now ia have4 other things fermenting...
Make sure it is CLEAN and does not have any scratches in it to harbor nasties that will infect your beer. You are going ot aslo have to drill a hole in it somewhere that will allow you to put in an airlock or a blow-off hose. Other than that, I think it would work just fine. I am not too sure...
Well, I will let it sit in the bottols for a few months and see what I have. I am dissapounted that it is not turning out right. Iam going to try it again. I don't thing the yeast was in good shape when I pitched it. It never did look like it was fermenting well. I am going to do a yeast started...
I just got my first yeast started kit together. Cool. I can make yeast like a mad man now. I was soprised at how efficently I can make it. I have an American Pale Ale in my primary right now fermenting with my first yeast I started. (Nottingham Ale Yeast) I was wondering if I wold be able to...
This beer is not doing well. I thought it was done and bottled it. I let it sit for over a month. There was no carb to it and it was sweet. I checked a few of them. I had the same results in all of them. I sanitized a fermenter and dipped the top of each bottle in sanitation solution before...

I have brewed the Austin Home Brew Oaked Arrogant Bastard clone brew. I left it in the primary for 10 days. Then I racked it ionto my secondary and added the toasted oak (soaked in some Wild Turkey Rare Breed for a few days to "steralize" ). Wendesday will be 10 days in the secondary. I am going...
