Kegerator for $69 - too good to be true?

I guess they sold out since the URL in the OP now returns a 404 error.

    ANVIL FOUNDRY ALL-GRAIN BREWING SYSTEM

What is the typical efficiency of an Anvil system using the no sparge method?

    Rust during fermentation

Any idea if the rust was there before you fermented the wine?

    Spunding valves vs force carbing?

Interesting description of a process I'm considering myself since I have a tilt and can transfer from my Speidel fermenter straight into a purged keg's liquid out port from it. Did you make or buy the spunding valve(s) for your keg(s)? Do you have any valve sourcing tips?

    Tilt Hydrometer readings.

You should be able to calibrate the Tilt using the app to 1.0 in water before using it in wort. I use a Raspberry Pi with the TiltPi image to configure and read my Tilt including calibrating it. That said, even when mine is calibrated I typically see an initial SG difference of .01 to .04...

    Brewing on a time constraint

Do you actually do this? I have a very nice brewhardware heat stick but I am too paranoid to start and run it on a timer while I'm asleep.

How do I keep a 19 year old out of my beer?

If he has underage friends coming over drinking your homebrew you are setting yourself up for possible contributing to the delinquency of a minor and/or providing alcohol to a minor charges. This happened to some parents in my area who looked the other way while their kids had alcohol...

    Vittles vault

I have 2 of the same vittle vaults and one's o-ring is now gone after becoming too large to allow the lid to be screwed on. I have contacted vv CS and not gotten satisfaction but was told you can buy replacement VV lids with 0-rings on Amazon.

Big batch in two separate brews the same day

"Welcome to the party, pal!" Are you using your regular fermenter to ferment all 26 gallons? I agree with Jags--there's no real problem waiting to pitch your yeast. I do it all the time with lagers when I want to cool them in the fermentation freezer to lower than my immersion chiller can get...

Are the horizons for home brewing narrowing?

I went to these London pubs in March (the first 5 were part of a walking pub tour) and I believe the only one that had porter on tap was The Harp. We had a lot of great beer on our trip but if you are looking for porter you should probably do some advance research by calling. London The...

Are the horizons for home brewing narrowing?

This reminds me of a recent London pub trip. I dragged my wife specifically to this pub because I read the sign painted on the building and wanted to try a hand pulled Porter. The 20 something bartender thought I was having a go as they say when I ordered a Porter. He had no idea what one...

    Morebeer is awful

Morebeer is not awful. I've been using them since the 90s with dozens of purchases and never had a problem they didn't make right. How did they respond when you contacted them about the issue?

HERMS better than direct-fired recirculating MLT?

I have a natural gas-fired HERMS system, #1 in your list. In the 4 years I've used the system my pilot light has never gone out. Not sure what you mean by high cost - high cost relative to what? If you mean the cost of propane then nevermind but the cost of natural gas to use my system is not...

The craft beer bubble is busting.

Quibble: I count 39 since So Cal gets Bells. I'll admit when I first thought of Bell's I had no idea where they were distributed but I remembered seeing Two Hearted all over the SE and up the atlantic coast so I assumed they were at least nearly nationwide.

The craft beer bubble is busting.

They're distributed in 39 of the 50 states by my count which is arguably nearly nationwide. https://www.bellsbeer.com/beer-finder

    GOOD on Netflix STREAMING?

Lately I have been binge watching Toast of London with Matt Berry. It is not for everyone but it definitely hits one of my funny bones. **** though as there's full frontal nudity including one episode in the second season involving a hilarious "picture" of the main character's twig and berries.
