So lets say at around 30 min of a 50 min boil you started to run low. By 43 min it was dead never came down past 190. Thinking im ok but what is the real issue with this. It was a stout with no adds other then in the beginning

That's alot taps. I mean ya there's good beer out there. But a case of midas touch is what $ 140. Im just talking home brew against normal beer.not the super microbrew. And yes I think my beer is world class. For a guy making it in the spare 4 hours a week I may have.

I have made 3 batches of this so far using all cascade. My bud said if he was in a bar and I put this on the counter he would think it was a big named brand of pale ale. Awesome. My only every other brewday beer.

Bottled last night. Man, it tasted amazing. Tge non existing chocolate taste was back. No off flavors from the left over hops. I added more vanilla and I hope that comes back. But really good so far.

Ya thats it. Of course I already transfered it, I also throw out direction. I was where I needed to be as per the hydrometer. It does have a hoppy flavour, that killed the chocolate and vanilla, but I wanted a hoppier stout. I think ill add at bottling. Experiment is the name of the game. As...

So I opened up my week old chocolate vanilla stout that I dumped on a pale ale yeast cake and found this. Is it just crust? Thats what I think but who knows. Gonna put it in a carboy to clear.
