    keggle and 25' IC?

garden hose, regardless of the hookups, if the IC is only 16" tall you're not going to want to use it in a keggle.

    Beer Keg vs Brew Pots

keg vs 15 gallon blichman is like saying whats better a saturn ion or BWM 5 series. They are on different price scales. You can get kegs off craigslist for ~50 bucks i think 15 gallon blichmans start around $400 ish (i could be way off on that) I'm a keg guy (and i drive a toyota).

    keggle and 25' IC?

i had a 25' IC and it didn't work in a keggle the hose hookups were well below the keggle opening. Kegs are taller than 16", infact their diameter is ~16" and they are much taller than they are wide. I bought some extra copper and soldered them on the end of my IC, to have 80' total but in the...

    another propane manifold question.... Really?

Yeap i was thinking about hard plumbing with 3/8 OD copper. I have about 20 feet laying around after i chopped up my IC to build a CFC. I just can see a major headache coming if i went that route. With my luck i wouldn't get things to line up. Think im gonna go with these guys...

    another propane manifold question.... Really?

I'm building a wallace stand with 3x bg-14 burners. I'm going hp propane for now and will go from black pipe --> needle valve --> hose of some type --> bg14 burner. I'm trying to find what hose to use, the 3/8 hd hot water heater hoses are only rated to ~30k btu (bg-14 is ~220k btu) so i don't...

    Netdunio + oneWire temp monitoring

Although it would admittedly be cool, I can't justify the added time or money required for fully automating a home brewery to the point where everything is hands free. The nerd in me agrees that kicking a brew session off from my phone from anywhere in the world is appealing, however I don't...

Agri Supply Shipping costs for BG14

    Counterflow Chiller Tutorial

hmmm i made a ~60' version of this. I haven't tried it yet. You found that reducing the length speed up the flow? I guess I didn't expect that because it was still being reduced to 3/8. BTW if people are thinking of building this i would recommend lubricating the copper with k-y lube. I...

    keg conversion fittings

I think most people prefer couplings over nipples because ther nipple threads get damaged in welding.

    Jamil's whirlpool chiller, with CFC?

Have you tried this? I just built a 50' 3/8" cfc today and noticed it is quiet restrictive. I was hoping to whirlpool through the CFC but sounds like it might not be a strong whirlpool.

    Wort chiller.. 25ft or 50ft

This seems to be a religious debate. I've been using an IC for years (~80' of 3/8 OD) and it takes 25 min to cool to pitching temps. I'm chopping it up and converting it to a CFC. To each their own, my opinion is yes CFC is better than IC.
