    ^that was such a pain in the ass i had a long wooden spoon with a pencil taped to it with a paper clip hook i made taped to the top o that - 20 mins later that little piece of foam was gone :P hahah hey, if you find an easier way - tell me.

    decided to run the bottles in the dishwasher with no detergent a few times instead of using all that iodophor. now im just going to use 1 tsp of iodophor and 1 and half gallons of water to sanitize my bucket, spigot, tubes, caps, and siphon.

    crazy thought about cooling my wort..

    if you bury yourself in the snow you can stay warm because it keeps your body heat in. i imagine burying a boiling hot pot of wort in the snow would have the same effect.
