My guess is that your beer is over-carbonated and your lines are too short. I'll guess that your fridge is at about 36°F, at 12psi is about 2.75 volumes (plugged it into a calculator). Try lowering the pressure to 9-10psi and see if that helps. You could possibly make the shorter tubing...

No, but I can say that the springs don't work with the SS shanks from RiteBrew and a Perlick 630SS. Thought for sure they'd work, but they just kinda jam open. Of course, I only tried them dry, so maybe they need keg pressure as well?

Sweet! Thanks for the feedback. There's no way I'd put 40 gallons through a single tap in a year, so 40cf is probably overkill, but the fewer trips I make to the gas supply the better. CO2 I can get from the beer distributor, but nitro is a bit of a hike. 40 it is!

I'm on the verge of adding a nitro tap to my kegerator, which currently uses Accuflex Bev-Seal Ultra tubing and plastic John Guest fittings for the beer-out line. Will the tubing and/or fittings be durable enough to hold up to the 30-35 psi of a nitro line? I can't find a max psi rating...
