huh...wheat beers can run from being very light to having substantial body without being tool heavy. I personally mash my strawberry blondes at 154...no rice hulls...but that's up to you. I use a cpvc manifold and never had a stuck sparge.

I built a CPVC manifold and used that exact same cooler. just make sure to cut the slits on the bottom, and use a 90 elbow to re-attach to the original out spout area.

they may have been chemical spray kegs...in that case, they are pretty worthless for homebrewing anyway. unless you are trying to a make a carcinogen double IPA...in that case, you're good to go. you say what a waste...I say, whatever works.
