    New England Style IPA issues

Here is a picture of what it looks like now--- I put a light right behind it though, so don't get confused and that it is glowing! ;)

    New England Style IPA issues

Wow.... I guess I needed to change the water on those flowers or just toss them at that point!! lol I wish the picture had more beer in it so you could see how opaque it was

    New England Style IPA issues

Have you tried it the way I am doing it? It is called biotransformation and supposedly has several advantages over simply dry hopping. Its controversial I guess. I typically had done it the way you explain, but I tried it this new way this last time to see if I could get a better result. It...

That definitely is a little hazy but certainly not murky, which, I guess, is what I am expecting, looking for and had. I think mine is at least that hazy...

    New England Style IPA issues

Not the best picture but this is what it looked like pre carbonation Thanks for your input. I honestly do not care what the beer looks like, especially if it is hazy or not, but I included that info as a descriptor in case it matters, which I believe it does. I guess my beer originally was...

    New England Style IPA issues

So I have been trying to replicate a NEIPA style beer similar to one that Trillium/Treehouse etc would make. I know there are other threads on this here and I have read most of them several times but they dated/long and hard to follow at times, so I figured it may be time to start a new one...

    floating dip tube?

to resurrect this thread, has anyone found a source for the ss float balls? I am looking for them but cant seem to find them (cheaply). I have tried to get one from morebeer for 18 bucks but they are out of stock. I dont mind spending $18 for one that is premade, but I do mind spending more...

    Glycol pump

Sweet! Do you have some info or pictures on how to do that? I am thinking of buying (maybe this week) 3- 1 bbl jacketed unitanks and that build could come in very handy. I cant imagine that this small 3 gallon glycol chiller could handle that, could it? And ABSOLUTELY heat is a must. I...

    Glycol pump

I was just quoting from the online instruction manual that I found on the manufacturers website.....I disconnected the pump that the chiller came with and I dropped in the SS brewteck one. Seems to be fine. What do you mean you have valves that open to direct flow? You use the pump it came...

    Glycol pump

Since you have been using it for 6 years, does that mean you have the dial temp gauge and not the digital readout style?
  17. L

    Glycol pump

I am only running the 1 14 gallon Chronicle so it should be enough to power my needs, but reading the directions on the chiller, it stated that the pump must run to have CONSTANT agitation or you could risk damaging the compressor. That was my concern. Now that I have the unit, I see that I can...

    Glycol pump

I am headed out soon to pick up a BVL controls ECO-33 line chiller which I also intend to use to chill my ss brewtech 14 gallon Chronicle BME, just as you are doing. My question is, does your chiller have a dial for temp control (just has 1-10 saying colder with an arrow) or does yours have the...

Anyone have experience with Morebeer glycol chiller

My question actually pertained to this.... I dont understand why there is a need to cut holes. The item has a bulkhead with 10 barbs that go through to the reservoir. See the post above this, he states it as well.
