so you dont know off the top of your head? your an extract brewer? i have to imagine prices are pretty stable that they change but not month to month. You have your main well known vendors that you can price compare...but there are also sources for single ingredients, like dmemart, 50poundsacks...

so you are suggesting if i boil a pound of DME in a gallon of water and add champagne yeast....it wont ferment?

Has anyone ever actually tried fermenting beer with champagne yeast? I know everyone will say it wont come out good, it will be very dry, but has anyone here actually tried it(or have you only read about it)?

Is it possible to brew a really impressive "wow" cream ale (not to be mistaken for just a really good cream ale for the style)? For a style that is suppose to be low on flavor and nothing stands out, you could taste one and say thats a really good cream ale, but would you ever try one and say...

A light american lager can take BOS in NHC but a dry(or sweet) stout cant even place an gold medal winner in this category in the last eight years? What is up with that?
