    If your compost is stinky you need to turn it more. Lack of air wilcause anarobic (sp?)conditions in your pile. Mix more green (leaves, grass clippings...) in with the brown (spent grain)and turn once a week. Have fun! Chardo

    The consontration rate is about 40 to 1 depending on the sugar content of the sap you collect. So 40gal. would get you 1 gal. of finished syrup. Chardo

    I have not used barrier bags. I do have a Tilia food saver that I use for all kinds of things. Cheap buys at the big box, camping supply's, seeds saved from the garden, leftover crushed grain.... Worth every penny Chardo

    I would move it as soon as possible. I use Hormone and B vitamin Mixture called Hormanex. I have used it with much sucsess with all kinds of plants. Water the bine with Hormonex or a simmilar product. the day before the move. Then water the transplant in with more solution. Bare rooting...
