    Pellicle forming in keg

    I racked a 5gal batch of Costco organic cider I made using Safeale 05 yeast. Today I opened the lid and there are white dots and what looks like a pellicle growing throughout. I should mention there was a lambic I made earlier this year and I suppose something crossed paths. What should I do?

    Anyone ever make this using corn meal vs rice? Does the rice yeast have enough enzyme to change convert corn? ---------- I ferment pretty much everything.

    Sonofgrok great thread. I actually made this a few times and then found this thread. Have you made Makgolli? Similar results. Also, same person from MDA? I ferment pretty much everything.

    I fermented 5 gallons of cider 10 days ago and it's done. It's pretty good but was curious if I racked this onto about 1 cup of a lambic cake I have left from a pLambic I made several months ago that I am also racking into a secondary. I'm looking for some farmhouse and bacterial notes from this...
