    American hefeweizen yeast in IPA

Yeah I was wondering that too in regards to the dry hopping, but the recipe said to add it when fermentation started and remove it after 3 days. The hops are in a bag and not loose in the wort, so maybe that's why I can do it. It will be interesting I think.

    American hefeweizen yeast in IPA

Hey all, So last night while brewing an IPA, I tried something different. I was brewing an IPA that I used a ton of Citra hops for, and I had some WLP320 in the fridge that I figured it would use. I had the idea that the citrus aroma would go well with the hefe esters. There is however no...

    Adding water to wort

    Adding water to wort

Hey everyone, So yesterday I did my first hefeweizen, and actually my first beer in almost 10 years. I did one when I was a teenager for my college project, but have obviously forgotten everything since then. I followed a recipe from the local homebrew store, and I think I did a pretty...

    Returning to brewing

Hey all :mug: I am a Dane who is moving back to Austin TX soon, and when I get there, I would like to start brewing again. I haven't done it for almost 10 years. I did it during my study of food science, so I need some advice. I really love german hefewizens, belgian wit beer and also...
