    Blue Dot inspired recipe

    I'm looking to make a blue dot-ish beer. Thoughts on this hopping schedule for an 6 gallon batch. 4 oz Warrior at 75 4 oz Nugget at 40 4 oz Simcoe at 0 Dry hop with 2 oz each of cascade, citra, and simcoe Thoughts?

    Honey settled to the bottom

    I just made my first mead tonight and all the honey seemed to have settled to the bottom. I have already pitched yeast (1118) and I am already getting activity. Sould I try to shake it to combine or just leave it alone?

    Thin mouthfeel

    I released the pressure on the keg several times and I haven't seen a change. Do I need to disconnect from the gas and relieve pressure for any particlar amount of time? I am at serving pressure now. As for adding malto dextrine...how much? I probably have 4 - 4.5 gallons in the keg. Thanks

    Thin mouthfeel

    I kegged an ipa a few weeks ago and didn't realize the regulator was set to 30! Now the beer is way overcarbed and has an extremely thin mouthfeel which from what what I read could have been caused the overcarbonaton. Any thoughts on how to correct either both?
