    Keezer Coolant Lines

You should see the manual they sent me. I think cave drawings would have been more useful.

    Keezer Coolant Lines

I am working on a homemade keezer project. I received a free medium sized fridge and have since bent back the freezer tray and rewired the thermometer. The next two steps involve modifying the walls, but I am nervous about hitting a coolant line. I am looking to drill a hole in the top for the...

    Keg/Kegerator Questions

I have been home brewing for a decent period now and I am looking to switch over to kegs from bottles. I scored a free mini fridge that has the dimensions for a homebrew keg. I just wanted to do research on what I need to get/do for kegging and how to build a kegerator without external tubing...

    Sugar and Sweetening Cider

I was using a priming calculator 5g at 65-75 temperature. http://www.tastybrew.com/calculators/priming.html It says to use 3.6 oz. I was thinking of using a little less to really avoid bottle bombs. So this is a failed idea? How cold does it take to freeze ale yeast?

    Sugar and Sweetening Cider

I am almost two months into making my first batch of cider. I am not planning on back-sweetening it, but have tried other people's homemade cider before and understand they do not have the same sweetness as store bought. I would like to 'allow' as much sweetness as possible. I am planning on...

    Bar MA Large Beer Selection?

I going to visit a friend that lives in the suburbs west of boston in a few days. I am looking for a bar to go to that has a large variety of beer. Does anyone from the area know of a bar in eastern or central Mass that has a wide beer selection? The more options the merrier? Thanks.

    Glass Carboy Size Selection

It is about that time in my homebrew career where I switch from a fermenting bucket to a glass carboy. I have been looking on craigslist for the past few weeks to see what people are selling as far as carboys. It seems most people are looking to sell 5 gallon carboys. I wanted to see what...

Gravity Wal-Mart Great Value Apple Juice

I was able to scrap up a gravity meter from somebody. I have seen alot of people using this brand for cider so it does not hurt to note for future reference. My Great Value 100% Apple Juice was around 1.040. I guess they lean towards water over concentrate.

Gravity Wal-Mart Great Value Apple Juice

I was starting my cider today and just finished cleaning my equipment. As I was cleaning the last piece of equipment my gravity meter cracked. The local brew shop is closed for the next few days so I can not replace. I could calculate the gravity on my if I knew the initial gravity of the juice...

Help adding Oak Chips to Imperial Stout

My long brew process is almost ready for bottling. I was wondering if I need to filter out the wood chips before I do so or if they will come out when I switch to the bottling bucket? Thanks again to all.
