    Ah that makes a lot of sense. Now I have to find a 6 gal. ferment vessel....so far everything I've seen is either too tall, too wide, or both. Lame.

    Has anybody tried using the Danby fridge as a fermentation chamber? The standard temp control will only get up to around 48°, so I would guess a modification to the thermostat would be needed...any thoughts or success stories? Thanks guys! Dustin

    That's something I hadn't really considered...have you put a setup like that together Nanobru? Anybody else out there have experience using a chest freezer as a kegerator?

    I'm still trying to piece together the prime kegerator fridge candidates. From what I've read so far, it looks like its tough to maintain a colder internal temperature - most linger in the 38-40º range. So I wondered - why not use a fridge with the freezer module up top? Is this because...
