    LOW ABV beers

Your looking for "session beer" recipes which can turn out great. The current trend is making "session IPAs" which a lot of people get fired up about... Check out your biggest liquor store, I'll bet they have at least two session IPAs you could try. I have one in the fermenter right now. In...

    Looking for Ichabod Clone

Hate to revive a thread if no one is looking for this any longer but I was so here is where I stand. Feedback appreciated. I have not made many recipes so I could be way off the mark. 7# Pale Malt (2 Row) 3# Crystal Malt - 20L 5# Pumpkin (Boil 90 min) 1oz Cascade (Boil 60 min) 5tsp Saigon...

    Unidentified New Equipment

Regrettably I can't contact the person I received it from. Looks like that's the plan. So the kettle on the right with no color should be my strike/sparge water tank. Gravity feed or pump into the mashtun. Then pump/gravity that into the boil kettle with the green/orange stripes? I...

    Unidentified New Equipment

The mashtun is the middle one with the false bottom correct? I just can't figure out why its open at the bottom. Nothing will stay in with a 2 inch hole! Or is there something I'm missing, literally or figuratively.

    Unidentified New Equipment

I recently came into possession of three kegs; two with the tops cut and ground off and one with the bottom cut off. The middle keg has the Sanke opening at the bottom with only the plastic covering they come with from the liquor store, nothing else. It is also the one with the false bottom...

    New Star San User

I know "don't fear the foam". But how much foam is appropriate. Can I rack into this carboy with this much foam?

    Washing/Harvesting Yeast

Here is an updated picture from this morning. I assume I'll make a starter from these jars. Will one jar have enough viable yeast to produce in a 2 liter starter? How long should I give such a starter to fully mature?

    Washing/Harvesting Yeast

So when the online calculators are talking about "slurry" they are referring to the white on the bottom of these jars? Not the trub left in the primary after racking?

    Washing/Harvesting Yeast

So I washed the yeast from my BIAB IPA, brewed on the 12th, after I racked into secondary today (the 19th). Took four mason jars worth and dumped the rest. After doing this I found this article and felt like a fool. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/yeast-harvesting-novel-approach.html But I'll...

    4 Keg CO2 Regulator

Oh, I for sure want four different pressures.

    4 Keg CO2 Regulator

So much helpful information. Thanks everyone!

    4 Keg CO2 Regulator

So just to make sure I understand completely. Could I just get 4 of those? One for the CO2 and one for each keg?

    4 Keg CO2 Regulator

I am putting together a shopping list to put 4 kegs on the same CO2 tank. I have found the following product on Corny Keg: http://www.cornykeg.com/product/taprite-dual-body-co2-regulator/ Does anyone know of a way to either make a 4 keg regulator or a place to purchase one? I have found...

    Wedding Reception Location

Ooo thanks for the note ifnotuthenwho, I'll be sure to check on that with someone, I'll also have to check on MO laws (though they are better in all facets) as we might doing it on that side.

    Wedding Reception Location

There is a Bloodmoon IPA recipe that was floating around the forums for a while, I have been working on a BIAB recipe for it. In addition a Hoppy Wheat, similar to Boulevards 80 Acre. I have two stouts that I have not picked between. And a light lager for "those" guests, though I haven't been...

    Wedding Reception Location

Hello all. I am trying to find a location for a wedding reception that would let us bring in our own alcohol. Over the past year I have been working on 4 recipes that I would like to have a tap. Has anyone else done an event like this before and how might you suggest looking for a venue...

    American IPA Blood Moon IPA

Thanks a bunch. I'll have to get GIMP, I had it on my old computer but not on this one.

    American IPA Blood Moon IPA

Oh man that's almost exactly what I was going for I just couldn't make it! What program did you use? Any chance you could post the PDF or whatever file format you have it in?

    American IPA Blood Moon IPA

Brunoshad: I did a 3 gallon boil when I did this one. Jakis: I did 6 days when I made this recipe. However, I am making a rye IPA right now and dry hopping for 10 days. I think 9 would be fine.

I REALLY dislike short neck bottles **Bottling Guru's Please Help!!**

I try and use the larger 1/2 liter bottles because I think it's easier, however, I used to use exclusively Boulevard bottles, and still do to supplement. I had the same capper and have not run into any problems. I'll have to pay closer attention the next time I bottle.
