Kinda weird to simply not cold crash or clarify so I just wanted to make sure.....my NEIPA that is fermenting as I type this, should I simply rack it straight into the keg after fermentation given that the "style" is to be hazy? Or should I still clarify or at least cold crash?

Brewed an NEIPA last night and my Blichmann Riptide went out during whirlpool....I meade a thread about the problem.......still went ok.....gravity feeding into the fermenters was annoying though

Welp. I created a recipe on BeerSmith utilizing everyone’s input and it came out great Fermented first 7 days at 64 degrees and next 7 at 72 degrees

Does that add more malty sweetness than a larger percentage of pilsner?

I'm going to perform a warm fermented lager and want to do a Marzen while the season is still right. What are some of y'alls best Marzens you've ever made? I am wanting that awesome malty sweetness but I don't want it as dark as the Sam Adams Oktoberfest. I would like more of a lighter...

What have you settled on brewing? I'm in your boat and am ready to brew my first lager as a Marzen as well. I don't want something too dark. I want a good light German Marzen thats still malty n sweet though

I went ahead and bought the single meat probe one....I think my existing meat probe from my maverick will plug in to yours

Load nuetral is not required for 240V applications but if you're going to use one leg for a pump or anything else running as 120V it will trip the GFCI.... The bottom picture in your link is what you need to do if running anything on only one leg of your 240V circuit

Good question.....with a load nuetral wire, I would think the GFCI shouldn't trip from normal welding

Honestly I would just return the spa panel, and buy a GFCI breaker to replace the existing one in that Welding panel and ya, just use the outlet on brew day Point is, theres a lot of ways to skin a cat lol

Just tap into the existing main entering your welding panel. Grab a 4-wire/10gauge cable and tap right onto the two hots, load nuetral, and ground bar and swing it on over to your spa panel. Tap into the cable entering the welding panel is what I'm saying, not after the welder breaker

Hey that code doesn’t work on the “2 meat probe” version! I really need that 2nd probe I’ll buy it right now if you make that 2 probe version applicable. Do you think the probe off my old maverick wireless thermometer would work??
