Most of what I do is IPA's around 6%. But I have the beer in my sig also on tap at the moment (honey hibiscus wit) and a Marzen Oktoberfest in my CF10 at the moment so no I brew all kinds of crazy stuff but my go to is definitely 10 gals of IPA cuz I can knock those back like no one's business...

I will say this....I started out at 5 gal batches and VERY quickly realized how fast those 5 gals dissappear. And for literally the exact same amount of work you can double your output. 3 hrs of work minimum to brew and clean up so why not go 10 gals?

Took her to 53 degrees and she started rolling pretty well.....doing the d-rest now

Been fermenting at 53 for 10 days. How long should I bring it up to 65 for the d rest before lagering?

I have the standard shelf because I was afraid the wide one wouldn't fit in my ferm chamber (which I later discovered would have fit fine) but I do have the shorty legs because my ferm chamber is high enough where I can still fill kegs from it using the shorty and everything is very stable

Lemme further explain when the cap is amazing! Pitching yeast or dry hopping you can look in there to make sure its not just sitting on top of the krausen or bubbles.....also you can check for signs of infection at will.....also it's super interesting to see the phases of the beer during...

Have a Marzen fermenting with s189 at 50 degrees right now with some pretty slow fermentation but it's getting there. Thinking of ramping the temp to 55 though just to speed it up. Thoughts?

So my lager is fermenting away (according to what I'm seeing through the site cap I mentioned above) but I'm not seeing any bubbles forming in the Star San my blow off hose is sitting in. Now it's 50 degrees so I imagine it's pretty slow. Being that this is my first lager, I'm not used to...

The clear 4" TC cap on the lid for viewing your beer is a MUST. Also the racking arm. Also depending on your tubing setup definitely get some 1.5" TC adapters (for me it was an adapter to a male camlock). Leg extensions and casters as well!

I can’t tell y’all how awesome it is to throw an entire CF10 in a fridge and simply take the probe from an Inkbird ITC-308 and set that bad boy to 50 degrees for my lager and just forget it for the duration of fermentation. Same for when I d-rest and lager. It’s just bliss guys!

What’s the thickness on that? I’m gonna order a sheet in stainless from steelnow

At 75% I barely get a trickle of a boil so I keep it at about 90%. And I’m using a big 240V 5000W BoilCoil 20!

Oh nice! Ya I had an error reading where it wouldn’t communicate with the probe at all. Replaced the probe, still nothing, bought a new EZBoil controller still nothing! I was furious. So I got a new cable and it fixed it lol. Returned the EZBoil n got my money back but kept the 8” Auber probe...

What was the issue? I’ve already had to replace the cable but that was my fault I think I might bent it too hard
