    NEIPA Bottle Oxidation and alternatives?

Completely up to you, but the more hops the more sensitive it will be to oxygenation. I use small amounts of bittering at 15 minutes or less. Also I missed that you were using SA05, as Taket_al_Tauro suggested, I prefer S04 for a dry NEIPA yeast too.

    NEIPA Bottle Oxidation and alternatives?

Looks fine to me. I started with similar amounts while getting my process down. I started adding more when I noticed that my favorite commercial versions would hit me with aroma while the beer was on the bar and I didn't get the aroma in mine until I went to drink. I also like higher ABV -...

    NEIPA Bottle Oxidation and alternatives?

Basic recipe I use is: 2-Row for most of the mash, normally a pound each of wheat and flaked oats, maybe a new ounces of honey malt Minimal hops during the last 15 minutes of the boil, then 6 ounces in the whirlpool After fermentation is complete, I ramp up the temp to 70 degrees F or so to...

    NEIPA Bottle Oxidation and alternatives?

I know it's huge, but check out this thread American IPA - "Northeast" style IPA and in particular search for posts by SRJHops - he worked hard at bottling NEIPAs and I believe he had success (if I remember correctly)

Beer smells strange after 10 days primary

Most likely it's fine. During fermentation lots of strange smells can be produced. RDWHAHB - Since you're new and it's an old expression... Relax, Don't Worry. Have A Homebrew

    Line free kegs?

I bought 2 of these about 2 months ago. I had the problem that even fully open they would only trickle. Fixed by opening them up and grinding off the part that prevented you from opening them up further. Now they are great! Just don't open them up too far or you'll be doing a lot of cleanup.

    Fermenting with a corny keg

My process is to ferment in whatever vessel you normally use, then after fermentation is done (for me normally one week at 62 degrees F or so) I ramp up the temp a few degrees to allow the yeast to finish up for another week, then cold crash to drop most of the yeast. After that I would transfer...

    Fermenting with a corny keg

The only thing it speeds up (if you choose to) is carbonating. You can force carbonate in a corny keg in a day or shorter if you desire. I normally take 3-4 days to carbonate since I'm not in a rush. A lager at 3 weeks from brew day isn't going to be as good as one that has lagered for 3-4...

    Rice husk

I just saw this thread and figured I would add my $0.02 I am an old guy who still fly sparges in my cooler. When researching I couldn't find any agreement on how much to use. I have had no stuck sparges since I started adding one scoop (my scoop is a single serving greek yogurt container) for...

    When do you dry hop?

I recently switched to cold crashing before dry hopping in my NEIPAs and the difference in aroma was very noticeable. I had previously been hopping at the end of fermentation. There is a greater risk of oxygen exposure, but I haven't had any issues as long as I keep it out in the rest of my...
