    Stuck Triple Question

Love where this guy's head is at! That will definitely take your gravity down real low. If you're already looking at a 7% beer @ 1.033, you'll be looking at a 10-11% beer once the brett is done. Not sure if you're into brett beers, but if you need help picking a strain, holler my way.

Do i need a tertiary fermentation?

Anytime man! If you ever need other advice, feel free to shoot me a PM. I've never used cocoa powder in the boil, but from what I've read, it seems the consensus would be to do what you're already planning. You can also get a nice chocolate vibe using a mix of crystal and chocolate malts in your...

Do i need a tertiary fermentation?

Sounds like a great brew coming to fruition man! Since you're planing on aging this beer first least 4 months, I would recommend just throwing everything in secondary and bottling when you feel the taste is what you want. I would also suggest skipping on the chips and using cubes instead as they...

Feedback Needed: AG Galaxy/Nelson IIPA (50/50 split on base malt)

Love the recipe man! The only part I would considering omitting would be the Carapils. Given the 3/4 lb of C-30 and 1/2 lb of sugar, you'll still have good body that's not too thin especially with the 50/50 split of 2-row and MO (MO should give you a back malt backbone for this). Definitely...

    Travelling in fermentors

I know it's a pain, but it's the best way to keep your brew without risking off flavors. Go to your local liquor store/beer shop and see if they have extra boxes with the dividers in them. In my experience, they usually hand them away without issue.

    Travelling in fermentors

+1. It would be best to bottle it and then travel

    Priming sugar for a stout

Here's a priming calculator that you can view on your phone with no issues. It also gives out carb guidelines for each beer style. http://tastybrew.mobify.me/calculators/priming.html

    Fruit Fly?

I wouldn't worry about it. Given the environment the vanilla beans were stored in, the chance of infection is pretty minimal. If you're concerned, just rerack the vanilla beans onto some new vodka in a sanitized container and you're good to go. Personally, I wouldn't use the vodka just because...

    Dry hop hop selection

Hey dude, I've used most of the hops you have on hand as a dry hop and personally, I would lean on the choices you've already decided on. Simcoe/Amarillo will give you a piney/grapefruit citrus aroma/flavor (or even Simcoe/Citra - piney/mango) is an awesome combo. Pliny uses a dry of all three...
